Lina Mera’s musical journey began in her early school years, where she first discovered her love for singing as part of the school choir. Years later, she started recording her first songs on her own. Around that time, she discovered Nightwish — a band that would deeply inspire her and shape her passion for symphonic metal and classical music.
During her youth, Lina joined both the school choir and the school band, where she gained her first stage experience and learned the thrill of performing live. Later, her university studies required her full attention, and she had to take an unintended break from active singing. Still, her love for music never faded - it simply waited for the right moment to return.
After completing her degree and starting her professional career, Lina reignited her passion for singing. A few years ago, she began taking her first vocal lessons - first focusing on pop/rock style for over a year, and later embracing classical singing, which she continues to study today. Through this, she continues to refine her technique, broaden her range, and deepen her artistic expression.

Today, Lina is the vocalist in two bands - Shades of Eternity, which she founded, and Cynic Circus, where she joined as the new female lead singer. Alongside her band work, she collaborates on various musical projects, always exploring new creative paths and continuing to evolve as a singer and performer.
Her journey is one of passion, persistence, and constant growth - and it’s only just beginning.
